Reacher's not a villain but he's definitely a bad ass.
He likes to hurt people.
(bad people)
A LOT.
Next time you're on a plane take one of the books with you. I started with Killing Floor but you can begin anywhere. Child was smart not to (always) write chronologically so people can grab whichever one's handy.

New Jack Reacher trailer for TV released, shows non-stop action, intrigue www.examiner.com/article/new-jack-reacher-trailer-for-tv-released-shows-non-stop-action-intrigue?cid=rssAs fans of the Jack Reacher books wait for the December 21st, 2012 release date of the book-turned-turned movie by author Lee Child, another Jack Reacher trailer has been unleashed on the public. This time the spot was made for the TV-viewing audience and shows a little more about Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, giving audiences some more background into this stoic and physical character. The film is based on Child's 9th novel, One Shot, although the film is titled simply Jack Reacher. As written the Reacher character is brawny, slightly blond and 6'5”, but the book's author has given him the thumbs up as the embodiment of the character, and from a physical standpoint, Cruise seems more than comfortable in the role. And with previous roles in films like Mission Impossible and Valkyrie, it's likely that audiences will buy Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher as well. .Like the featurette, which was released this week, audiences are introduced to more of the character's background, including his stint in the military and as a member of the military police. His origins story sees him as a child of the Cold War, being born in 1960 on a military base in Berlin. The trailer also gives the viewer more of a background into the high-stakes nature of the conflict in the film, which from the footage from the film looks to go all the way to the highest levels in Washington, including the Pentagon. Examiner I didnt think I would get more and more excited about Jack ! "Cruise seems more than comfortable in the role"
