Djokovic is REALLY on a tear this year. I could ALMOST kiss him for getting rid of Soderling yesterday. (almost) LOL I can't imagine himhaving ANY trouble with his opponent today, he's a lock for the final tomorrow. Now, if Rafa can dispatch Roger.. that will be a SCARY final tomorrow.

Arrrrgh... what a pity Rafa could not put Bigmouthovic away. :-(
I shall sit back and watch/wait for *his arrogance* to implode from over-confidence. HE will have to lose sometime as well. That's a lot of pressure: hasn't lost a match this year.
I would have THOUGHT that after the the gruelling 2009 season, Uncle Tony and Rafa himself would have figured it out that you cannot play ALL the clay court events week end and week out without paying the price. Oh well, crying over spilt milk will get me nowhere. Hopefully, he can rebound and be ready for RG!

Nadal crushes Davydenko Nadal, who came into the match with a perfect 10-0 record on clay this year - with a remarkable 20-0 in sets – further stretched his incredible run on the surface with a convincing victory after having received a bye in the first round.
Davydenko, who took an impressive 6-4 head-to-head lead over Nadal into the encounter, was never able to match his opponent’s power or intensity as he was comfortably defeated in 80 minutes. SOURCE

Well, you chose the wrong tournament Archie . Blue clay ? Good heavens.. The match you watched yesterday was the weirdest match of Rafa I have ever seen.. He hated the blue clay and kept complaining about it so much that I actually believe that he subconciously tanked this third round match vs Verdasco which took 3 hours !! How do you explain losing when you are leading 4-1, then 5-2 and wrapping up the match ? He said in his post-match interview that he would not play at Madrid next year if the conditions dont change. Novak said the same that he would not play at Madrid next year... It s not the color of the clay, it s the slippery surface which may cause injuries.. Rafa is so stubborn that he did not listen to Uncle Toni who told him to skip Madrid.. Archie, forget Madrid, wait for Rome and French Open.. Clay court matches are more exciting and entertaining than hard courts.. Lost in Blue

Madrid Open 2014
Rafael Nadal and Iker Castilla ( Real Madrid goalkeeper) had a great Charity Day for their Foundations. They played footy tennis to the crowds.. Andy Murray, Serena, and many other players joined them. Here is Rafa and his friend Andy Murray (both love playing daft jokes on each other)

Hello to all my tennis friends here! Hope that you are doing alright? Just when I would LOVE to see some tennis (going into week 4 of broken foot, cast making walking difficult) on TV? The stupid cable company has changed its line-up. Instead of tennis we now have Baby TV!!! I kid you NOT! Rafa to face Andy M. in today's final. I hardly dare be too hopeful of a win? I am just happy he seems to be getting back into form? AND, thank heavens Bigmouthovic is not in evidence! VAMOSSS!!!
