Hi Imelda [/img] I've got the match Tivo'd watching it tomorrow. Glad it went so easy, hearing him talk bout his "crunchy" knee was not a pleasant way to start 2012. Aside from a shirt malfunction it looks like Match #1 was a piece of cake:

Guys, do we need an "Aussie Open" Board? I'm not sure.. Look at his tightly bandaged right knee.. It is a weird injury,a crunch ..He was surprised himself that he could play the first round match.. Who knows how far he'll go !! Let's open the board if he wins his 2nd match and can still walk ! Tomorrow he plays vs Tommy Haas.. The seeded players in Rafa's quarter are Ivan Ljubicic (gone) , Feliciano Lopez, John Isner, Nicolas Almagro, Stanislas Wawrinka, Kevin Anderson and Tomas Berdych. Roger Federer is in Rafa's half..

Oooooh, I just read that Berdych refused to shake Amalgros hand after their match..BECAUSE one of Amalgro's shots hit him in the arm? How can you have such a thin skin? Apparently Berdych turned his back when Amalgro tried to apologize. The crowd booed him all during his post-match interview. Twill be interesting to see if that animosity holds over to today. There's no love loss between our boy and Berdych anyway is there? Wasn't there some kind of "tiff" a few years back? At any rate... I just hope that Rafa can prevail and in straights. !!! VAMOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

Hi Imelda.. The final will be played at 08.30 a.m. GMT, 09.30 a.m. Central Europe time.. I dont know how I'll manage to watch it.. I'll be like this guy , 1 million heartbeats per minute..This is a hilarious story of the Rafa - Roger match.. Very hilarious : www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7506321/running-diaryI watched the semifinal....Rafa looks good..His serves are good. His forehand is incredible, so are his passing shots..He runs as he used to run when he was a teenager.. Hope he wins, he has the game to beat Djok. ... And lovely article by Steve Tignor - "FIREWORKS" - about the Rafa-Roger match.. blogs.tennis.com/thewrap/2012/01/fireworks.htmlJust like you, I dont trust that Djoko guy..What a drama queen..You think he is going to die when he loses a point, it looks like he is injured. Then he begins to run like crazy when he is winning the point. What a fake ! I am sure he is using something. He was a ninny a while ago, he would call the physio, he would retire in the middle of the match.. But look at him now.. It is not only the gluten diet, I am sure !..
