Happy Birthday, Tom Cruise! Today, July 3, You’re 49 Years Old!
This famous actor is one of the most recognized faces in Hollywood — and his future looks bright!
Tom Cruise is known for his heroic movie roles, including Mission Impossible and the film that locked down his career as a superstar, Top Gun. His marriage to Katie Holmes is beyond adorable, and they have one beautiful daughter together, Suri. Tom’s life is one to envy, and it’s only getting better! Get all the details at Astrology.com!
Happy birthday, Tom Cruise! Your blockbuster of a life may feel a little dampened lately, but the good news is that you’ll take stock of your personal life and find yourself increasingly unwilling to play by anyone else’s rules. Ultimately, you’re still the maverick we came to know and love in ‘Top Gun,’ and your cluster of planets in show-stopping Leo continues to yearn for public approval, as well as the attention of your peers. Hopefully you’ll take on more roles that allow audiences to enjoy your kaleidoscopic persona!

Those are all from Fathers Day Serin. There are only pics of Tom with Kate, Suri, Connor and business associates and their families. Nothing with the rest of his family and his close friends. They don't like to be in the spotlight, but they were all there. His Mom, his sisters and their husbands and families and a couple of very close friends and their families.

Taylor Lautner Names Tom Cruise, Matt Damon As 'Abduction' Inspirations
22/7/2011 Source: (http://www.mtv.com/rss/news/news_full.jhtml)
At Comic-Con, 'Twilight' actor says he and John Singleton studied film.
SAN DIEGO -- Taylor Lautner is ready to abduct the title of Hollywood's resident action star when "Abduction" hits theaters September 23, but he didn't get there without a little inspiration from some of the genre's greatest actors.
When MTV caught up with the "Twilight Saga" star at Comic-Con 2011 this week, he revealed that he did more than admire the top action actors: He studied them. Considering "Abduction" is being described along the lines of the "Bourne" movies and "Minority Report," it makes sense that Tom Cruise and Matt Damon are among Lautner's biggest role models.
"I studied film with John Singleton while preparing for the movie, and I chose Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford; we just went down the list," Lautner explained. "It would be an honor to have a tenth the career that those guys have."
Having spent so much time watching the movies, Lautner said he sometimes found himself copying their moves during his takes. It took him time to take a step back and figure out how to tailor -- or "Taylor" -- their concepts to his own acting style.
He got a chance to meet Cruise while filming a promo for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, and though their work together wasn't action-oriented, Lautner said working with the "Mission: Impossible" actor was "surreal."
But was he able to hold it together around his idol? "I definitely played it cool," Lautner said with a laugh. "It was hard."

Cruise Tests Red Bull F1 Car Tom Cruise got his first taste of Formula 1 machinery in a secret test that took place with Red Bull in California last week.
In a behind closed doors session on August 15 at the Willow Springs circuit in Rosamond, Cruise was given a day to learn all about the challenges of driving F1 machinery. The event was part of Red Bull Racing's recent promotional trip to the United States.
Being overseen by Red Bull Racing ambassador David Coulthard, Cruise was reported to have reached speeds of 181mph around the 2.5-mile track and, over the 24 laps he completed, he improved his best time by 11 seconds from the start to the end of the day.
Speaking about the event, Coulthard said: "Tom's the real deal. I was surprised that he picked it up so quickly and is such an accomplished driver.
"His recall was incredible considering how complicated driving an F1 car is. He's a guy who really pushes the envelope in real life. This day was not green screened. He thoroughly impressed me." SOURCE
