I would like to make the new the new poster of Ghost protocol which I had posted at the Ghost Protocol board, but unfortunately the format of this forum does not let me move the old one and post a new banner.. I guess we have to wait for Architect to do that when he returns.. You know the mysterious poster with Tom wearing a hood .. *

"Tom Cruise still remains a force.."
Jeffrey Wells response: The older Cruise gets, the more interesting he becomes. Nobody pushes harder at delivering quality goods.

Tom Cruise and Others (lol) Celebrate Martin Scorsese
October 12, 2011 10:36 am by Katie Henry
The Fall is shaping up to be a celebratory season for director Martin Scorsese. In addition to earning his very first Emmy for Boardwalk Empire, his 3D children's film Hugo just debuted at the New York Film Festival to rave reviews. Martin's also the subject of a tribute article in Harper's Bazaar November issue, which is out on Oct. 25, featuring Martin recasting some of his most famous films — make sure to check out behind-the-scenes videos from the star-studded shoot. Kate Bosworth, wearing couture Givenchy, channeled Michelle Pfeiffer's character in The Age of Innocence, while Christina Hendricks and Jack Huston were given the task of re-creating Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz's chemistry in The Gangs of New York. Keanu Reeves and Chloe Moretz took on Taxi Driver, and Emily Blunt went blond for her Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore assignment.
Tom Cruise even contributed to the article with a story about working with Martin. Recalling their time on The Color of Money with Scorsese set, Tom said, "When we started working together, Marty would just giggle. And it was wonderful because sometimes in the more violent scenes, like when I got pissed and was going down the stairs and throwing down the briefcase, you could just hear him giggle

Cameron Crowe Gets Out of the House TOM CRUISE gave his longtime pal Cameron Crowe a jump-start — no couches involved — when he needed it most.
Mr. Crowe, the writer and director whose new movie, “We Bought a Zoo,” opens Dec. 23, said this was back in 2006, when he was in a funk after “Elizabethtown,” his 2005 film about a young man’s journey to his dead father’s hometown, had crashed and burned with critics and moviegoers.
“I wasn’t in a fetal position, but yeah, I was blue,” Mr. Crowe said, “though I always kept on writing.”
Mr. Cruise, who had starred in the hugely successful “Jerry Maguire” (1996) and “Vanilla Sky” (2001) for Mr. Crowe, felt that it was time for his friend Mr. Crowe to emerge from behind the yellow legal tablets on which he composes his first drafts in longhand. “I was deep in the writing cave,” Mr. Crowe recalled, “and he said: ‘Hey man, you need to be directing. You’re forgetting the joy, the adrenaline.’ He’s, like, ‘Let’s go for a drive.’ ”
The drive took them to the nearby set in Los Angeles of “Knocked Up,” where the writer and director Judd Apatow was trading punch lines with Seth Rogen and the film crew. Mr. Cruise introduced Mr. Crowe to Mr. Apatow, who joked that he’d been stealing for years from “Say Anything,” the sharp-witted teen comedy that first established Mr. Crowe as a director in 1989.
“Cruise sidles up to me and goes: ‘See? Get out of your house, man, it’s fun,’ ” Mr. Crowe said. “And that’s when it felt like, yeah, it’s time to direct again.”
Mr. Crowe did direct again. It just took a few years, during which several projects failed to coalesce, and he made a couple of music documentaries, including the recent “Pearl Jam Twenty.”
His new movie, “We Bought a Zoo,” is based on a memoir by Benjamin Mee, the British journalist. The comedy-drama stars Matt Damon as a recent widower and single father who buys and rehabilitates a dilapidated zoo. In the process he reconnects with his estranged adolescent son and finds a way to move beyond the emotional paralysis caused by the loss of his beloved wife. “It was an opportunity to tell a joyful story even though it was stationed in grief,” Mr. Crowe said, explaining why he took on the project.
Mr. Cruise, speaking by telephone, said he looks forward to viewing the “Zoo” that Mr. Crowe has constructed: “I just love his writing. It’s unique and filled with humanity. I’m always happy when I’m going to go see a Cameron Crowe movie because you always know there are going to be jewels in there.” SOURCE

Paula Patton left 'paralysed' after meeting Tom Cruise
Posted online: Saturday, October 29, 2011 Washington, Oct 29 : Tom Cruise's co-star in 'Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol' Paula Patton has said that he was "inspiring" to work with.
The 49-year-old actor, who plays American agent Ethan Hunt in the famous sequel, left Patton "paralysed" when she first met him.
"When you first meet him, if you think about meeting him then you'll just get paralysed. So I didn't think about him, and we had this really good connection," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Empire magazine.
"Then I went home and was like 'Oh my god! I just met Tom Cruise!' He's very compassionate; he can read a room and see who needs something. Because of that working with him is inspiring," she added.

Before she was finalist on "The X Factor," 42-year-old Stacy Francis sang at birthday parties...for Tom Cruise.
The singer performed for Cruise at his 2004 birthday party aboard 440-foot cruise ship "Freewinds." YouTube videos show the singer serenading Cruise with tunes from his mega-hit "Top Gun" including "Take my breath away" and "You've lost that lovin' feelin'." She also engages in a duet with Cruise of "Old time rock and roll" from his film "Risky Business."

Serin! Thanks for the dance videos... very impressive indeed. Did not know he knew how to do the worm... maybe he learned some more dance moves through Rock of the Ages. He looks great though... did he chop his hair again?! Archie, thanks for the CC article. Good to see that they're both great friends. I'm more excited about Zoo than I am about MI:4 Cruise and Crowe need to collaborate again. Third time's a charm, right? PS... I LOVE THE NEW BANNER! Looks like Tom is coming for me
