Who is the Greatest Harry Potter Character of ALL Time Well, that's easy: Ron Weasley.
But MTV think it's worth asking us, and are running a month long tournament, to find out the definitive answer. Thay are launching the Harry Potter World Cup, a month-long tournament that will have fans voting online to lay to rest, once-and-for-all, the question, “Who is the greatest Harry Potter character of all time?” As announced by James and Oliver Phelps, the Harry Potter World Cup will launch on Monday, June 20th: round by round, the single-elimination event will unfold online with fans championing, fighting and voting for the character they believe is the greatest in J.K. Rowling’s epic fantasy series. The two finalists will be announced on Monday, July 11th, kicking off a championship round just days before the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. The winner will be revealed during MTV News' livestream coverage of the film's red carpet premiere in New York City. In addition to voting online at MoviesBlog.MTV.com, fans are also encouraged to utilize the official Twitter hashtag #mtvpottercup to spread the word about voting. Each round will feature new videos and articles from Harry Potter stars, experts and fans. To see the draw for the tournament, click here. www.mtv.com/content/news/2011/harry_potter_world_cup.jhtml

WB Pulling Potter DVDs after Xmas Warner Bros. said Monday that it plans to stop shipping Harry Potter DVDs and Blu-ray Discs to retailers at the end of the year.
The move, which is clearly intended to boost sales of the biggest box office franchise of all time, will take effect as of Dec. 29.
Warners said it will stop shipping all titles, including box sets and special and limited editions. That includes the final title in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which hits stores Nov. 11, as well as Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection.
Disney employs a similar strategy with its home video titles, pulling them from shelves for a period of time before making them available again at a later date. SOURCE
