HP 7.2 to Release on DVD 11.11.11
Banking over a billion dollars worldwide, the film stayed in theaters for several months, which may account for its late home release date. Warner Home Video won’t bring Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 into homes until November 11th.
In case there were any concerns, there will be a 3D release of The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, as well as standard Blu-Ray, DVD, and download releases.
All copies will come with lengthy featurettes, including “When Harry Left Hogwarts,” a mini-documentary giving unprecedented access to many of the creative processes used in the franchise films. A full list of bonus features is included below.

Special editions will be available at Wal-Mart and Best Buy. The Wal-Mart edition will even include horcruxes! Also, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will coincide with a full series set. Harry Potter: The Complete Eight Film Collection will come without bonus discs for special features and will hit stores on the same day as The Deathly Hallows: Part 2. If you are missing any of the Harry Potter films, do buy copies around this time. Warner Bros. is planning on pulling a Disney and vaulting the eight Harry Potter films on December 29th.
