It was Nadal's first ever competitive live game of poker and the tennis ace's competitive streak shone through to win 50,000 for his charity, The Good Hand Project.  Rafa Nadal, winner of the 100k EPT Charity Challenge Nadal, who signed up as a member of Team PokerStars SportStar last year, has been training in his down time away from the tennis courts and it certainly seemed to pay off today. Sure, today's tournament isn't as important as being back in the tennis number one spot or notching up an incredible 13 Grand Slam titles, but it doesn't mean you can't enjoy yourself. Imelda.. I'm still laughing ..The Final for the US Open will be played today..Who cares?
Those two , Nishikori and Cilic did their jobs and dumped Djokovic and Federer in
Semifinals.. HAHAHA.. Everybody was expecting a Final with Djoko and Federer..They were shocked
when Nishikori (Jap.) and Cilic (Quar.) won their semi finals.
BTW, congratulations to Serena.. She is going to be the best of all times, 18 GS..

We are still waiting for Rafa's wrist to heal... He wont be in Davis Cup..Hopefully he will start
playing at Asia Swing..He has been practicing, but that right hand does not do its job..

Apparently he had his appendix out? Hope he is healing and feeling good.
You KNOW tennis is just NOT the same when he is not playing? I mean, I can SEE that the people playing are
good players? BUT, I just DO NOT CARE? (so much for loving the game huh? lol)

Hi Imelda.. I miss you so much - and our chats at the World forum..
Yes, Rafa had a bad year with injuries (wrist, back, appendix, etc..), although he still
had a Grand Slam.(French Open)
Everybody keeps saying that tennis is no good without Rafa.. Fortunately he seems OK now
and wll start practising for the new year soon..Can you believe that Federer hs become Number 2 !!!!!
I have some beautiful pictures but I m not sure if I can post them ..Let me try..

Poor boy is still struggling. I have faith that he will get himself together. It MAY take longer than any of us (and he) want? But, I have no doubt about his committment!
(I absolutely cannot STAND Bigmouthovic even MORE than ever?)
